These recipes look great but it would be helpful to know where to find many of the ingredients if you don’t live near an Oriental market.
The answer is obvious: you can’t find these ingredients fresh anywhere else but ‘oriental’ markets. You’ll need to go to one and buy the fresh produce there like everyone else. You might be able to find dessicated whole/sliced versions of these items in both Chinese and Korean stores online or on Amazon but you’ll need to know the name to look for. The red dates are almost always available dried along with the Job’s Tears at groceries. The other scan be purchased from herb shops online. But if you’re going that far, you might as well get in touch with a chinese medicine practitioner via acufinder.com, NCCAOM, or AAAOM to get a succinct prescription most likely in pill form that you can put in a daily pill case to ease dosing.
